About

As is often said, if your heart truly loves something, it will come to you!!

It has been an interesting journey for Artist Arti Saxena traversing through varied fields of professional life, yet holding art at the very core of her being. She grew up in small Army towns as her father served the country, living close to nature. Her earliest inspiration in art came from her father, an Army doctor by profession but a creative soul at heart who painted to nourish his soul, wrote volumes of poetry and is a great story-teller. Her mother tremendously influenced her with the qualities elementary for an artist, patience and perseverance. She grew up surrounded by nature and in an inspiring environment.
The formative years of her life went in gaining education, and soon enough she joined the corporate world, working on interesting assignments and touching success. She did her graduation in Mathematics and Masters in Business Administration. After completing her education she worked with a leading technology company in Sweden. While she continued painting during these years, it was more exploratory. As she travelled, she had the opportunity to see, study and get inspired by the works of artists across the world. She painted through the journey to keep nourishing her soul and keep creating, but then felt gravitated towards painting more actively and look within for what truly inspired her. She has been professionally painting for the last few years…and she finally feels at home now!
Arti returned to India a few years back, and she lives in Mumbai. She has been working in a management position with a leading bank and now is a full-time practicing artist. Her passion for art drives her, she actively paints, engages with art spaces and actively interacts with other artists. She paints landscapes in impressionist style and enjoys working with Oil and Acrylic mediums. She has evolved in her journey as an artist, experimenting in mediums and expresses herself by combining the experiences and impressions from her travel, work, interactions with people along the way, the stories shared and all that touched her life.
“As an artist she believes one is constantly evolving, learning and un-learning each day, immersing and emerging each day, dreaming and keenly observing, reflecting and introspecting each day…and that makes each day as an artist so enriching!”
